1861 MARRIAGES

  

BROWN – ROGERS – At the Webster House, Canandaigua, Jan 17th, 1861, by Rev. S. CRANE, Mr. Hriam P. BROWN of this place to Miss Elizabeth S. ROGERS of Cheshire.  (Ontario Repository Times, Jan 25, 1861) 

HAYES – COLEMAN – On Tuesday, 24th instant, by the Rev. Dr. DAGGETT, Dr. J. B. HAYES to Miss Louisa A. COLEMAN, all of this place  (Republican Times, October 1861) 

KNAPP – MOOR - At Gorham, at the residence of James Moor, on the 20th inst., by  Rev. Y. S. HILL, Mr. Leonard KNAPP to Keren H. MOOR, all of Hopewell.  (Ontario Co.  Repository,  Thurs,  Nov. 28, 1861)  NOTE from Ron Hanley  (The Moor woman is really the widow of James Moor.   The Ontario Republican had it listed correctly.  She is really a daughter of Samuel and Ruth Blackmer ANDREWS.)

WHITING – OSBORN - In this village on Sunday evening the 17th inst., at the residence of the bride's father, by the same, Henry A. WHITING, of Buffalo, to Eliza M. OSBORN, of Canandaigua.  (Ontario Co. Repository,   Thurs,   March 21, 1861)  

WORTHY – CASE – At Allen’s Hill, Sept 25th, 1861, by the Rev. MR. HANCOCK, Marrison P. WORTHY of Richmond to Celesta M. CASE of West Bloomfield.  (Republican Times, October 1861)

BLODGETT – At Gorham, January 20th, 1861, Martin BLODGETT, in the 79th years of his age.  (Ontario Repository Times, Jan 25, 1861) 

BROWN - In Cheshire, June 6th, 1861, Miss Amanda BROWN, aged 51 years.  (Ontario Republican Times, June 14, 1861)

LAPHAM - In Manchester, May 16th, 1861, William E. LAPHAM, aged 34years.   (Ontario Republican Times, June 14, 1861) (longer obit)

LINCOLN – In Gorham, Sept 1st, 1861, Allie, infant daughter of Henry M. and Mattie D. LINCOLN, aged three months.  (Republican Times, October 1861)
