O’KEEFE - In this village, April 11,
1878, Mrs. O’KEEFE, relict of the late Hugh O’KEEFE, aged 65 years.
O’LEARY – In East Bloomfield, Monday
evening, June 17th, 1878, Mrs. John O'LEARY, aged 73 years,
mother of Mr. John O’LEARY of Canandaigua. The funeral took
place the following Wednesday morning under the superintendence of Mr.
Brian O'REILLY, undertaker of Rochester.
Solemn high mass was celebrated, Revs. Fathers HUGHES, of East
Bloomfield, EVANS of Honeoye Falls, MURPHY, of Livonia and
Auburn, officiating on the mournful occasion.
A very fine casket with rich and elegant trimmings enclosed the
remains, which were followed by the largest concourse of people ever
seen at a funeral in East Bloomfield. The deceased was highly esteemed and is sincerely mourned by
a wide circle of relatives and friends (from Ontario Repository and Messenger)

aged 24 years. Funeral

at 1 o’clock and from Cheshire church at 2 o’clock p.m.

1878, Mrs. Florence, wife of C. W. SLAYTON, aged 25? years.

apoplexy, Frances M., wife of A. A.
SMITH, aged 47 years. Her remains were taken to Marcellus, NY for interment.

TWANLEY, aged 9 years, 8 months, 7 days.
