John Hamlin, 81st New York Volunteers

Many thanks to Joseph F. Gianetto II, for generously sharing these documents on his great-grandfather, John Hamlin, who served in the 81st NY Vol.  Joe says, " while I was in Washington, D.C., I had an opportunity to go to the National Archives.  I needed some information on a Great Grandfather, John Hamlin.  I found a treasure of documents that included Company and Regimental Descriptive Book Sheets, Company Muster Roll Sheets, Casualty Sheets and Widow Information documents for my Great Grandmother."  Joe has been researching his family history for several years now, and would love to hear from anyone researching the same family.  Joe can be contacted at:  JGianet1@twcny.rr.com
*Note:  These pages are graphic intensive, so please be patient.  More will be added within the week.
