The Times Record    Troy, NY    Friday                 October 17, 1952        by Dianne Thomas

 

Bert Sippery, 80, a former New York State Highway Department employee, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Raymond Connolly, 73 Green street, Schuylerville, after a long illness. Mr. Sippery, who has resided with his daughter the last two years, came from Malta.  He was employed by the state for twenty years.  The death of Mr. Sippery followed that of his brother, Edward Sippery, of Round Lake, by only nine days.  In addition to his daughter he is survived by one son, Burton C. Sippery, of Mechanicville. 

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 pm, at the home of his son, 227 South Third street, Mechanicville.  Interment will be at the Dunning Cemetery, in Malta.

BOUTWELL - At St Petersburg, Fla.,  Lizeola Davis, wife of George Boutwell of St Petersburg, Fla., mother of G.  Donald Boutwell. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and one brother.

Funeral services Friday at 1 p.m. from the Malta Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, 319 Park Ave., Mechanicsville, Thursday from 1-4 and 7-9.   Interment in Dunning Cemetery, Malta.
