Estate of John BOLAR in Surrogate Court - Canandaigua - Jan 18 in Surrogate Court yesterday, the will of John Bolar, who died in the town of Farmington, on September 27th, was admitted to probate with O. B. Gardner of Farmington, as executor. The estate amounts to $2,500 and the legatees are one son, and three daughters, John Bolar of Gardiner, Montana, Johannah H. Doyle of Canandaigua, Mary Curran, of Farmington, and Nellie Cavanaugh, of Buffalo.

MRS. JULIA BURKE - Death of Victor Woman After an Illness of 96 Years -
Victor Apr. 13 - The death of Mrs. Julia Burke, a lifelong resident of this town, occurred Saturday evening at her home on High street, aged 77 years. Mrs. Burke's life had been unusually sad, and for twenty-six years she had been an invalid suffering with a spinal trouble and during this long period had never left her bed. She was very patient and never complained.
She leaves one daughter. Mrs. Katherine O'Neil, who has tenderly cared for her mother during the long period of invalidism. She also leaves one sister and one brother, Mrs. James Tobias Sr., and Michael Tobias both of this town.
For several days before her death Mrs. Burke's condition had been more serious, she having contracted a severe cold, which took the form of bronchitis, and on Saturday pneumonia developed, and she lived only a few hours. The funeral will be held from St . Patrick's Church on Tuesday morning, with burial at St. Patrick's cemetery.

He leaves, besides his wife, Margaret Burke, four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Plain, of Mendon; Mrs. Joseph McGibbons, of Rochester: Misses Mary and Catherine Burke, at borne: and one son, Daniel Burke, at home. Funeral services will take place at St. Patrick's Church, Victor, at 10 o'clock to-morrow morning. Rev. J. J. Donnelly officiating. .. Burial in St. Patrick's cemetery, on High street, Victor.

BURNS - At his home in Canandaigua, Monday morning., February 11. 1918, Hugh Burns, aged 79 years. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Julia Ernlsee, of Rochester and Mrs. John Welch, of Canandaigua; one brother, Thomas Burns, of Pittsford; one sister, Mrs. Catherine DeVoe, of Rockport, Mass.
The remains were taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Julia Ernslee, No.346? Alexander street, where the funeral will be held Thursday morning at 8:45 o'clock and 9 o'clock at Corpus Christi Church.

Alice Amelia Schroo Weds Robert Barry In Double Ring Rite - CLIFTON SPRINGS - St. Felix Catholic Church was the scene Saturday morning of a very pretty wedding when Miss Alice Amelia Schroo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schroo, Clifton Springs, became the bride of Robert G. Barry, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Barry, Victor.
The Rev. Emmett Dougherty, pastor, received the vows in the double ring ceremony and officiated at the Nuptial Mass. Mrs. Claude Goodman played the wedding music. The church was decorated with pink and white gladiola.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a ballerina-length gown of white lace over satin, fashioned with fitted bodice, full scalloped skirt, and a lace jacket with mandarin neckline and short sleeves. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a pillbox lace cap, and she carried a white orchid on a white prayer book.
Bride Presents Flowers - Miss Barbara DeWind, Clifton Springs, was maid of honor. Best man was Robert Bowe, Macedon. Ushers were Bernard DeRuyter, Phelps, brother-in-law of the bride and Joseph Barry, Victor, brother of the bridegroom. Immediately following the Nuptial Mass, the bride and bridegroom approached the altar of the Blessed Virgin where they knelt while the bride presented red roses and white pompoms to Our Lady. The organist played "On This Day, O Beautiful Mother," This is the first time this ceremony has been performed in St. Felix Church.
A wedding breakfast for the bridal party and members of the immediate family was held at the Town Pump. A reception for 200 guests was held in the American Legion Home in Canandaigua which was decorated with seasonal flowers. The bride's table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake.
Will Live In Victor - For her wedding trip the bride selected a Hunters green gabardine suit with saddle tan accessories and wore an orchid corsage. After a week's trip the young couple will reside in Victor.
The bride is a graduate of Clifton Springs Central School end has been employed at Eastman Kodak Co. to Rochester. The bridegroom attended Victor Central School and is employed by the Lena Construction Co. on the Thruway.
Guests were present from Rochester, Geneva, Canandaigua, Newark, Manchester, Shortsville, Port Gibson, Victor and Clifton Springs. Prenuptial events included showers by Barbara DeWind; Mrs. Elton Bliss, Victor; Mrs. Rhoda May, Rochester; and a farewell party by co-workers at Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester.

Raymond F. Barry of Shortsville, died Wednesday, June 5, in Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua. He was 42, born in Clifton Springs, but lived in Shortsville most of his life.
He was a veteran of World War II and received a Purple Heart while serving with the Army Infantry in the European theatre of the war. He was a member of Turner Schrader Post of the American Legion of Shortsville and Manchester, and was drum major for their drum and bugle corps for many years.
He worked as a deputy sheriff in Monroe County, and then later operated the West End Restaurant in Manchester.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. James (Rose) Barry of Shortsville; two daughters, Daryl and Shelly Barry of California; three brothers, Joseph of Clifton Springs, J. Walter and Robert of Shortsville; two sisters; Mrs. Robert (Cass) Bonnell and Miss Ruth Barry of Shortsville.
Services on Saturday morning in the family home on High Street and in St. Dominic Church were followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Victor. The Rev. John F. Woloch officiated. Arrangements were made by the Arthur R. Schaefer Funeral Home of Shortsville.

Chief of police at Victor dies - VICTOR - Funeral services for Clifford Barry, 65, Victor police chief, who died Sunday at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, will be at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday at the Victor J. Tischer Funeral Home, and at 10 a. m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Tuesday.
Mr. Barry was constable and police chief for more than a quarter of a century in Victor. Surviving are his wife, Ruth, two sons, Richard and Joseph; a foster son, Bobby Hubbell and one grandchild, all of Victor; three sisters, Dorothy and Margaret of Victor and Mrs. Hugh O'Neill of Rochester and one brother, Howard, of Little Falls, N. J.

Mrs. Rose Barry - SHORTSVILLE - A prayer service for Mrs. Rose Barry, 88, of Shortsville, who died Thursday, at Clifton Springs Hospital, will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church. Funeral services will be at 9 am. at the Arthur R. Schaefer Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Victor, at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Sunday at 8 p.m.
Mrs. Barry was the widow of James Barry, who died in 1949. She was a member of St. Dominic's Church and its Rosary Society and a Gold Star Mother.
Surviving are three sons, Walter, Robert and Joseph, all of Shortsville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Kasalee) Bonnell and Miss Ruth Barry, also of Shortsville; two sisters, Mrs. John Finear and Mrs. Winfred Harrison, both of Rochester; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
